"Harry, you are not getting any icing," Maralie scolded.
"But it's chocolate!" he whined, pouting.
"You can have a cupcake after they're cooked," Maralie replied, scooping the gooey mixture into bun cases - with a fork, of course.
(A/N I actually do this :P)
"Maaaaaralie," he moaned, emphasising on the 'lie'.
"Harryy," Maralie teased, sticking her tongue out at him.
Harry crossed his arms and sulked.
"You reeeeally want some icing?" Maralie grinned, holding the glass bowl to her chest. Harry nodded frantically, eyes huge.
"Come and get some," she said, just as she poofed.
"MARAAAAAAA!" Harry whined again.
"I'm up here!" Maralie called from upstairs. Harry sighed and trudged up after her.
"One way or another
I'm gonna find ya
I'm gonna getcha getcha getcha getcha,"
A giggle came from Maralie's room. "Very suiting song, Hazzabear."
Harry grabbed the handle of the door and twisted. It opened and he ran in. Maralie yelped as Harry tackled her.
"The icing," he hissed. "Where is it?"
"O-Over there," Maralie pointed, staring at him in shock.
He grinned and skipped over to the desk, as Maralie watched him oddly.
"You're so strange," she smiled as he stuck his head into the large bowl and began to lick it clean. "Hey, I wanted some!"
"You can kiss it off," Harry winked, pulling his head out of the bowl. Maralie glared at him.
"Not funny, Harold."
Harry came over and made kissy faces. "Mwah mwah!"
"Ew, Harry," Maralie laughed, pushing him away. "There's chocolate all over your face."
He pouted. "But aren't I cute?"
She rolled her eyes. "Jeez, Harry. 'Course you are. Stop with the puppy eyes."
"That's why I love you," he fake-cried, wrapping his arms around her in a bear hug.
"Uh. Harry," she winced, trying to breathe.
He fell backwards onto the bed, taking her with him. She squealed as her head hit the pillow, and laughed. She turned her head to look at Harry, who was watching her intently.
"You're cute when you concentrate," she smiled, poking his cheek.
"I'm always cute," he teased.
"You, like, frown when you concentrate hard. And your eyes go really dark green."
"Huh," he said, humming. "Learn something new everyday."
Maralie watched as his green eyes flickered from her eyes to her lips. He was going to kiss her...
"Harry," she started, then hesitated.
"Maralie," Harry said, smiling.
"I need to tell you something."
He tilted his head. "What's up?"
"The sky. But anyway... Sit up for a sec."
Harry frowned, but obeyed.
Maralie sat up and took a deep breath, then lifted up his top. He gave her a look, and then gasped as he looked down at the giant plaster that was stuck to his stomach.
"Shh!" Maralie hushed, putting her index finger onto Harry's half open lips. "Don't... don't freak out."
"Freak out?" Harry said, almost hysterically. "Who's freaking out? Not me!" His voice raised an octave. "How long has that been there, can you tell me because I am very interested in this plaster thing."
(Another A/N Tangled, I do love you so.)
"My God," Harry winced.
"Uh huh. Bri gave you this knock-out medicine, but obviously you forgot a few things afterwards."
"Yeah," Harry muttered disbelievingly.
She hugged him. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier."
"It's... fine," Harry managed a smile. Maralie watched him carefully. "Are you sure, Hazzabear? I mean, you look kinda sickish. Are you sick? I think we have some pain medicine down-"
She was cut off by his lips slamming to hers.
After a minute or so, Harry pulled away and Maralie stared, stunned.
"You were talking too much." he winked.
